There are two ways to conduct background searches:

1. You can get secondhand information from databases that can become outdated in as little as five days.

2. Or, you can go directly to the source of information and conduct a live records search.

Validity goes directly to the source to produce the most accurate information available. Those sources include district courts, departments of public safety, employers, educational institutions and credit bureaus.
