Researchers who are tested and audited

Validity only works with the best researchers. How do we know they're the best? We test them. If candidates meet our standards, they're hired. Here's how it works:

Each new researcher is given a 30-day trial period. During that time, we purposely give them profiles previously obtained through criminal record courts. As candidates complete each search, we check their work for accuracy by comparing it to the original report. Researchers then are retested at least four times a year.

To strictly comply with FCRA guidelines - and produce the most accurate information available, Validity also requires researchers to:

  • Sign a research agreement that explains our systems and processes
  • Provide proof of liability and errors as well as omission insurance
  • Produce state investigative licenses when applicable, as well as other documentation to ensure credibility

Does everyone in the industry go to such lengths?
No. But we're not everyone.
