OVERLAND PARK, KAN. ... Validity Screening Solutions, an Overland Park, Kan.-based employment background-screening company, donated nearly $7,000 in December to 20 public schools and their foundations in Kansas and Missouri, announced President Darren Dupriest.
Through its annual Invest in Tomorrow program, Validity Screening Solutions offers public school districts and other select clients the opportunity to participate by having one percent of their total expenditures with Validity donated to an organization of their choice. Each year the percentage donated increases by one percent, up to a maximum of seven percent.
“Thank you for the check from the Invest in Tomorrow program,” wrote Janis Smith, school secretary at USD 290 in Ottawa. “What a delight that you contribute to the school system and return part of your profits to us! It will be put to good use considering the new budget cuts.”
Dupriest added: “As Validity marks five years of its Invest in Tomorrow program, we look forward to inviting new clients from the Kansas City area to have an opportunity to participate. This will allow local companies to work with a local provider of a necessary service while supporting the community in an area of great need – education.”
