OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – September 7, 2011 – Validity Screening Solutions, a premier provider of background screening and drug screening services, has been recognized by the Kansas City Business Journal as a finalist for the 2011 Best Places to Work. Thirty finalists were named in the categories of small, medium and large companies. Validity is among ten other companies in the Greater Kansas City area named as a finalist in its category. This is the second consecutive year in which Validity has been recognized.
The Kansas City Business Journal Best Places to Work program recognizes “companies for creating workplaces that pass muster with extremely knowledgeable judges - their employees.” All competing companies were ranked and finalist determined based on a confidential survey completed by a required percentage of employees. Said survey takes into account benefits, perks, interaction with management and overall employee satisfaction.
“Validity has had the good fortune to have been recognized with several awards over the past few years, however, the ‘Best Places to Work’ is easily my favorite,” said Darren Dupriest, president of Validity. “Validity has been successful because of our employees. The winners in each category are scheduled to be announced on October 14, 2011 and details of what sets finalists apart from the large field of candidates will be published in the print edition of the Kansas City Business Journal.
