2003 – CMKA is founding member of National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS)

1982 - Clarence M. Kelley and Associates (CMKA) is founded in Kansas City, Mo., by former FBI Director Clarence M. Kelley.

August 1st, 2004 - Dupriest purchases Backgrounds Division. New entity moves to Overland Park, KS.

August 2008 – Validity acquired Fairfield Information Services, a Lancaster, OH based background screening provider.

July 2008 – Validity integrated with PeopleSoft, allowing them to offer a new integrated pre-employment background screening solution for their clients.

July 2009- Validity introduces new innovative technology with their eJobApp and FCRA Compliance Manager

1985 – CMKA provides background checks as part of theft investigations.

1992 – Darren Dupriest appointed Vice President of CMKA’s Backgrounds Division.

June 19th, 2006 - the Backgrounds Division of CMKA became Validity Screening Solutions.

And, to guarantee that your account is handled professionally and effectively, our account executives are trained and periodically tested on customer service skills.

Top-level team members belong to the Society for Human Resource Management and National Association of Professional Background Screeners. Through these affiliations and continuous research, Validity is able to effectively educate our team members and our clients about relevant changes in legislation, as well as implement programs and procedures that ensure compliance.
